Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy is provided in the language of this page for clarity. The English version remains the reference version if wording differs.

1. Introduction

Aripsy is an AI-powered study platform available at aripsy.com. This policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use the website and related services.

This policy is provided to explain those practices and your choices. If you have questions, contact support@aripsy.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account details, authentication information handled by Supabase, study preferences, usage data, device information, approximate location, cookies, support messages, and billing records handled by Paddle.

  • Study text you paste
  • Text-based PDFs uploaded on Pro
  • Generated study sessions saved to your account
  • Share links until they expire or are deleted

3. How we use information

  • Provide AI study notes, flashcards, MCQs, questions, exports, and saved sessions
  • Manage accounts, subscriptions, usage limits, security, and support
  • Improve reliability, diagnose issues, and understand product usage with consent where required
  • Comply with law and protect users, Aripsy, and the service

4. AI processing and service providers

Aripsy sends submitted study content to third-party AI providers only as needed to generate study materials. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not needed for studying.

Aripsy does not train its own AI models on users' personal study content. Provider-side handling depends on the API service and contract in use.

  • Supabase: authentication, storage, saved sessions, usage records
  • SiliconFlow and Groq: AI generation APIs
  • Paddle: merchant of record and subscription billing
  • Resend: support and transactional email
  • PostHog: consent-based product analytics, heatmaps, session replay, and autocapture; input fields are masked, while interactions and rendered study content may be recorded
  • Google Analytics and Vercel: consent-based analytics, diagnostics, and performance
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics: cookie-free, aggregated website analytics without persistent identifiers

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share information with trusted providers, when required by law, to protect rights and security, in business transfers, or with your consent.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of non-essential analytics consent. You can also delete your account from Settings where available.

  • Use privacy choices to manage analytics consent
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails
  • Manage browser cookies and local storage
  • Contact support for data requests

7. Retention and product availability

Plan limits control how long saved sessions are shown in the product: up to 6 months for Guest and Free users and up to 1 year for Pro users. These availability periods do not state when backend or backup copies are deleted. Free share links expire after up to 7 days and Pro share links after up to 30 days. Account, support, billing, backup, security, and legal records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security, compliance, or dispute handling.

8. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS, access controls, authentication, and security reviews. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Aripsy is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use the service with parental consent or guidance. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 provided personal information.

10. International transfers, cookies, refunds, and updates

Information may be processed in countries other than your own with appropriate safeguards where required. Cookies help keep you signed in, remember preferences, and improve the service. Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled through Paddle and applicable consumer law. We may update this policy and change the last updated date when we do.
