How to upload PDFs

Use PDF uploads in Aripsy Pro to create notes and revision material from course documents.

Updated 2026-06-063 min read

PDF uploads are available on Pro for files up to 15MB. Free users can still copy and paste text from a PDF within Free plan input limits.

Prepare the PDF

Use clear, text-based PDFs where possible. Scanned images, handwritten notes, or low-quality documents may be harder to process accurately.

  • Keep the PDF under 15MB on Pro.
  • Use course handouts, lecture notes, textbook extracts, articles, or revision packs.
  • Avoid uploading private content you do not have permission to process.

Upload and generate

Open the study tool, upload the PDF, choose your subject and focus, then generate notes or study materials from the document.

Check the result

PDF extraction can sometimes miss tables, diagrams, footnotes, or formatting. Verify formulas, dates, definitions, and quotes against the original PDF.
